Ergonomic Solutions commenced trading in the United Kingdom in 1997, distributing a range of technology mounting products designed and manufactured in Denmark for the UK market. Since then, the company has grown considerably and has become the leader in manufacturing and supplying EPOS and in-store technology mounting solutions for the global retail markets.

The company comprises four regional sales and support companies, based in Denmark, France, Germany and the UK with authorised distributorships and technology partners world-wide. Our dedicated manufacturing plant in Denmark additionally offers a Design & Development service, producing solutions from conception to production and dispatching them to any destination in the world.

Our products are ergonomically designed to allow movement flexibility with rotation, tilting, elbow arm and height adjustable capabilities. We are also able offer our clients the services of our Ergonomics Consultancy to evaluate a work area being designed or upgraded. They will then receive the Ergonomist’s advice and recommendations that will enable them to create an ergonomic workspace which optimizes accessibility, usability, safety and comfort for their staff and customers.

Milestones

1996

 Ergonomic Solutions Limited was founded in the UK by Kieron Tonge and Ian Dewar.

1997

 Ergonomic Solutions Limited commenced trading in the UK.

2000

 The mounting products were branded under the name of SpacePole®.

2002

 Ergonomic Solutions GmbH was formed in Germany to service
the central region of Europe.

2006

 Ergonomic Solutions SAS was launched in France to service
the southern region of Europe.

2007

 A company restructuring programme took place which included the full acquisition of our manufacturing facility and offices in Denmark. The restructuring included these new divisions:


• Ergonomic Solutions Manufacturing A/S based in Aalborg, Denmark.

• Ergonomic Solutions (Western Europe) Limited based in Epsom, UK, to handle Western European sales.

• Ergonomic Solutions Nordic A/S based in Nørresundby, Denmark, to handle sales from the Nordic countries.
