Ergonomic Solutions Forms Italian Subsidiary to Reflect Growing Business Interests

Ergonomic Solutions, an acknowledged leader in the design and supply of mounting and security solutions within the retail sector, today announced the formation of an Italian subsidiary company, Ergonomic Solutions Italia S.r.l.

The formation of the subsidiary is in response to increasing interest in our product range, as Ian Dewar, Group Managing Director, explained. “The Italian market is key in our strategy of becoming the number one supplier of technology mounting solutions to a broad range of retail and commercial customers, across Europe. The new company demonstrates our commitment to our existing customer base as well as providing local business acumen as we grow our market share in Italy”.

Dewar added, “An increasing interest in our SafeGuard product range comes at a time where tablet based devices are changing the Point of Sale landscape. The buzz of using iPads within retail along with the development of mobile PoS solutions, mean that technology is becoming more stylish - ideal for the Italian market”.

The formation of a new subsidiary comes on the back of the recent announcement of the appointment of a new Account Manager in Italy. Marco Lavezzi joined Ergonomic Solutions from Computer Gross in Italy where he was the Sales Manager for the retail market. Marco has many years of experience as Sales Manager in the AIDC industry prior to that, with Alfadistribuzione, Metrologic and Honeywell.

Marco Lavezzi has recently joined Ergonomic Solutions as our new Account Manager in Italy. He joins us from Computer Gross in Italy where he was the Sales Manager for the retail market. Marco has many years of experience as Sales Manager in the AIDC industry with Alfadistribuzione, Metrologic and Honeywell.
